BetVisa Terms and Conditions

BetVisa Terms and Conditions are applicable to all individuals who possess an account on the platform. The company reserves the right to modify them, including any associated documents, at any given time. In the event of such modifications, users will be notified in advance. Notice may not be provided if the alterations are deemed insignificant. 

A violation of any significant provision outlined in the Terms and Conditions of the platform may result in the suspension or termination of the user’s account.

User obligations

When using the services of BetVisa in Bangladesh, clients agree to the following:

  1. The user confirms that they are of legal age (18+) and capable of entering into a binding agreement with the platform;
  2. If is the gambler’s responsibility to ensure that accessing the site and placing bets is legal in their jurisdiction;
  3. The client must be authorized to make deposits and withdrawals via BetVisa, using valid payment methods under their name;
  4. The user shall not engage in any activity that causes or appears to cause a conflict of interest while placing bets;
  5. The client’s participation is for personal use only, not for commercial purposes or on behalf of others;
  6. Any losses incurred from betting are the sole responsibility of the gambler;
  7. Manipulation of markets and compromising the integrity of BetVisa is strictly forbidden;
  8. The user is expected to act in good faith towards the platform at all times.

Registration

Registration is required to be able to access the platform’s services. It may be denied at BetVisa’s sole discretion, without the obligation to provide specific reasons. To verify your identity, you may be asked to provide some documentation. Failure to provide these may result in account suspension or restriction:

  • ID (copy of passport, driver’s license, national card);
  • Recent utility bill as a proof of residence. 

Accuracy and completeness of information submitted are essential. Providing false personal information may lead to immediate account suspension and potential legal action.

BetVisa Bangladesh allows registration of only one account per person. Multiple profiles, including those operated by representatives, relatives, and other parties on behalf of the user, are strictly prohibited. All bets, deposits, and withdrawals are expected to be performed by the account holder only.

In case of account misuse or hacking, clients should immediately contact [email protected] using their registered email. To not let that happen, passwords must be kept confidential.

Customers are required to follow these rules when registering and managing their accounts:

  1. Creating a profile for another individual or providing false information is strictly prohibited;
  2. Using account for commercial purposes is not allowed;
  3. The platform has the right to remove or reclaim nicknames that it deems inappropriate.

Restricted use

The platform is strictly prohibited for individuals under the age of 18 or those unable to enter into a binding legal agreement. 

Selling or transferring an account to a third party, as well as acquiring it from it, is not allowed. Transferring funds between member accounts in any manner is not permitted as well.

If the service is used for unlawful purposes, the platform has the right to terminate the account immediately upon written notice. Legal action may also be taken depending on the circumstances.

Privacy and safety

All information provided by users is safeguarded and processed in strict compliance with the platform’s T&C and Privacy Policy. 

The identities of clients are not disclosed, except when lawfully required by competent authorities such as:

  • Police (for fraud and potential money laundering, as well as sports integrity investigations);
  • Financial entities (banks and other payment suppliers).

User information is stored in the BetVisa Bangladesh databases upon registration. Consequently, personal details may be transferred to jurisdictions outside EEA that may not offer the same level of integrity and protection. By agreeing to the T&C of the platform, users authorize such transfer.

Prohibited behavior

Engaging in prohibited activities may lead to lawsuits from other customers, third parties, enforcement authorities, and the gambling platform itself. This includes the following actions:

  • Sharing false or misleading information;
  • Impersonating someone else;
  • Sending unsolicited advertising, spam, chain letters, and similar mail;
  • Participating in activities that may scam other customers;
  • Employing bots and other automated methods to place bets;
  • Creating and using cheats, mods, hacks, or soft that modifies communication protocols and collect information;
  • Using computer code to disrupt functionality of the website;
  • Submitting and sharing content that infringes intellectual property rights;
  • Posting harmful, abusive, violent content;
  • Promoting criminal behavior;
  • Violating terms and conditions of the platform;
  • Spreading viruses.

Account management

To become a member of BetVisa, visitors must register an account and provide accurate information. In certain cases, the platform may close or suspend it without prior notice if there are reasonable grounds to do so. It also has the right to refuse, restrict, cancel, or limit any wager for any reason, in accordance with the betting limits and system regulations. 

If an amount of money is mistakenly credited to a customer’s account, BetVisa promptly notifies the user and withdraws the funds. In the event of an overdrawn account, the client is responsible for repaying the owed amount. 

Customers have the option to set limits on their betting and losses. Requests for setting them need to be submitted to [email protected]

Payments

Users make payments to be able to place bets.The list of available options can be found in the special Cashier tab. Note that every method has its own limitations and additional fees.

  • Deposits. Users may deposit funds into their accounts using any of the available methods. Any payments made in a currency that is different from the account one are converted using the daily exchange rate.
  • Withdrawals. Prior to granting any withdrawals, users may be asked to submit documentation for identity verification. 

BetVisa is not a financial institution, and the procedure for depositing/withdrawing funds is handled by a third-party service. All payments must be made in good faith. Note that the platform has the right to charge an administration fee in the event of a chargeback, refusal or reversal of financial transaction.

Errors and matters beyond control

System failures may lead to incorrect calculations of odds, fees, bonuses, payouts, or currency conversions. In these cases, all bets are considered void. Any money associated with such wagers are removed from a gaming account. To predict possible malfunctions, immediate reporting of any service-related issues is required.

Force majeure and service interruptions

Any failure or delay in providing the service caused by force majeure events, even if reasonable measures have been taken, is beyond the platform’s control. These can include the following:

  • Acts of God;
  • Power cuts;
  • Failure of communication services, and so on.

In such a case, BetVisa can cancel or suspend their services without incurring any liability.

Communications and complaints

For sending any inquiries or notices to BetVisa, customers should use the email address [email protected]. English is a preferred language of communication. The general response time is within 15 days. Note that disputes regarding wagers must be filed no later than 3 days after the decision. If the platform’s customer service department is unable to resolve it, the matter can be escalated to management upon request. If this also fails, a user may file a complaint with a licensing body.

The company contacts its clients by posting on the website or sending them information letters to their registered addresses. The method and timing is decided by the company at its own discretion.

Intellectual property

The trademarks and logos of BetVisa are protected. Clients are prohibited from using the platform’s URL, trade names, marks, or odds in a way that causes confusion among customers or the public, or that disparages the company in any way.

Any unauthorized use may result in legal consequences. Any utilization of betvisa.com (URL) and its intellectual property requires prior written consent.

Furthermore, BetVisa and its licensors explicitly retain all rights, titles, and interests in and to the Systems and the Marks. Monitoring and copying of web pages or content displayed on the platform is strictly prohibited.
